Alex Mac Queen was born in 17 March 1969 in Lewisham /London.He was a British fashin designer and couturier. At the age of 20, he spent a period of time working for Koji Tatsuno before travelling to Milan, Italy and working for Romeo Gigli.Than he gone to London and started to working in Central Saint Martins for teaching pattern. McQueen had his first international experience and successful project when he presents a final project in this school which was appeared in many magazines. Immediately afterwards, the entire collection was bought by British fashion icon and magazine editor, Isabella Blow. Also Blow persuade him to take his middle name “ Alexander” .After his first fashion show people started to putted nicknames to him like “bad guy” and “British Fashion hooligan” because he made in ordinary and crazy shows.He is also known for having worked as chief designer at the French Haute Couture House Givenchy but Givenchy and Mc Queen’s styles didn’t get on well so he softened his line for fitted Givency but in the end of the 2000 he sold 51 per cent of fashion house to Gucci.He continued to designed and created his “bests” in this time period. By the end of 2007, Alexander McQueen had boutiques in London, New York, Los Angeles, Milan and Las Vegas and become worldwide fashion brand.
